What are the benefits of lemon balm as a companion plant?

Lemon Balm

Crush the leaves of lemon balm or dry them and turn them into a powder. Sprinkle the powder throughout the garden to repel a wide variety of pests. Use it around your squash patch to deter squash bugs. Lemon balm contains citronella, so it also keeps mosquitos away.
