When do I prune a Cape Jasmine?

You can prune your cape jasmine if it has grown a bit too large. Cut your cape jasmine back by 1/3 in the spring before you set the plant outdoors for the summer. Pinch off the tips when new shoots reach six inches in length. Continue doing this until August.
