The earth is warm enough now to set out your seedlings. Tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and peppers are a few of the first crops to go in. Try to have a variety of tomato and peppers. In tomatoes, Early Girl, Better Boy or Big Boy, Roma or Viva Italia and Burpee`s Supersteak are good choices. Have a few cherry tomatoes on hand to perk up salads, or as a quick snack.
In summer squash, try green and gold zucchinis, as well as white, gold and green patty squashes. They are all delicious and provide color contrast for your summer meals.
