What do bleached leaves mean?

Bleached leaves

If you notice bleached leaves on your annuals after you plant them outside in the early spring months, it means they haven't been properly hardened off. Your plants have to be gradually acclimated to outdoor conditions and the sun's rays before you put them in the garden.
