Should I plant azaleas and gardenias against my cement walls?

Cement Walls

Cement or stucco foundation walls can add lime to your soil. Since lime is added to soil to make it more alkaline, you may not want to plant any acid loving plants near these walls. This can cause all kinds of problems for the plants, including stunting their growth.
