Caville de Blanc´Hiver- 1598

This apple dates from the late 1500´s in the gardens of Louis XIII. It is juicy and sweet, containing more than twice the vitamin C found in oranges. Caville has long been regarded as the best of the "dessert" apples. It can be purchased from any reputable grower of heirloom fruits.
