How long should I pre-chill my bulbs?

Pre-Chilling Bulbs

Some bulbs, such as tulips, need to go through a period of cold before they bloom. This means that if you live in zones eight through ten, you should pre-chill your spring blooming bulbs for at least 10 weeks before you plant them in the garden.
