Bulb Burglars

To stop thieving critters from burgling your bulbs, you can try one of these solutions: 1. Sprinkle human or dog hair around the bulb beds. Human odor has been known to repel many wild pests. 2. Puree garlic and spread it around the beds. 3. Cover your bulb beds with chicken wire and then add a layer of sharp gravel. Be sure to remove the gravel before the green shoots appear. 4. Stop using bone meal or blood meal in the garden. These products attract animal pests.
