Coneflower Care

Echinacea, commonly known as coneflower, is a native prairie plant that is easy to grow. Coneflowers seed naturally and require little care. They donīt need fertilizing; this can actually stop coneflowers from blooming, and causes weak spindly growth. These are one of the rare plants that can handle heavy clay soil, but coneflowers will also grow happily in normal garden soil, as well.
