November 1, 2002, Newsletter Issue #145: Dealing With Frost

Tip of the Week

One good way to minimize frost damage is to wet protected plants down in the evening. This will provide them with moisture to help minimize the impact of bone chilling cold. Spray tender tropicals with Cloud Cover or Wilt-Pruf. These are anti-transpirants that help hold in moisture and protect crops.
