November 30, 2001, Newsletter Issue #99: Christmas Trees

Tip of the Week

If you go to a tree farm to cut your own Christmas tree, leave an extra two inches on the trunk. When you get home, fill a bucket with warm water and transplant hormone. Cut the extra length off the trunk and immediately place it to soak for at least an hour.
Spray all your evergreen decorations with Cloud Cover or Wilt-Pruf. These anti-transpirants will help your greens stay moist and healthy.
